Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy defines the rules and restrictions for using mealtally. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use mealtally for:

• Any activity that violates applicable law
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or staff
• Sending spam or unsolicited messages via the Service
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service
• Creating multiple accounts to evade usage limits
• Uploading harmful, defamatory, or illegal content
• Impersonating another person or entity
• Exceeding API rate limits or abusing API access

2. Authorized API Use

If you have an API key, you may use it for personal integrations but must comply with rate limits and may not use it to scrape data, build competing services, or share your key with others.

3. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including suspension, termination, or reporting to authorities. Terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds.
